By combining their trademark LED panel and reworking the per-key LED lighting, Angrymiao's Cyberboard Terminal beautifully reproduces this retro-futuristic feel.
Custom PC Material
Exclusively for the Cyberboard Terminal, Angrymaio has custom-made a semi-transparent black PC material that doesn't involve painting. After the mixing of colors, the base material is directly sandblasted to achieve a delicate semi-transparent effect. This improved production process makes the material more eco-friendly and durable.
Digital Rain Dynamic Lighting Effect
Digital Rain, which symbolizes the command line, flies across the LED panel like it's on an endless search for information. With a special afterimage effect visible with each keystroke, this is as geeky as it can get.
New Weight Plate
Unlike metal, Angrymiao's semi-transparent PC material brings an extremely cool RGB lighting effect experience. However, to achieve the same substantial feel as when using metal, a counterweight is required.
Angrymiao has created a counterweight with a radical design for the Cyberboard Terminal with the weight plate being visible externally. The weight plate's reflective stainless steel surface forms a stark contrast with the matt PC material. It occupies most of the bottom area and supports most of the structure, much like the underlying logic of machine code.
All-New Integrated Gasket Mount
To further polish the feel of the Cyberboard, Angrymiao innovated with a redesigned gasket structure. Implementing a gasket mounting system into a polycarbonate keyboard goes further than just ensuring a good typing experience. The materials and appearance on the inside should also be up to par.
With this iteration of the Cyberboard's gasket mount, Angrymiao used silicone with a level-10 hardness which is integrated with the plate through injection molding. The newly designed integrated silicone pads provide a more "consistent" internal structure which reduces gaps than in a conventional structure.
This results in better isolation, reduced hollowness, and a better typing experience - all while looking even more beautiful!
